Matt Keeslar (Josh Neff)
Josh, the overexcited disco enthusiast and junior Assistant District Attorney (or “A.D.A.”) in Manhattan D.A. Robert Morgenthau’s office, is played by Matt Keeslar in what is his fourth role in a Castle Rock movie. Matt played Corky St. Claire’s love interest in Chris Guest’s WAITING FOR GUFFMAN, a castrated TV actor in Larry David’s SOUR GRAPES and Albert Finney’s son in director Peter Yates’ Irish-set THE RUN OF THE COUNTRY.

Matt grew up in Michigan and attended the actor’s program at the Juilliard School with Matt Ross (“Dan”). He played one of Susan Sarandon’s sons along with Robert Sean Leonard and Sean Astin in SAFE PASSAGE and had a small part in Robert Redford’s QUIZ SHOW. Other credits include MR. MAGOO, RENAISSANCE MAN, and the TV production of STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE with Jessica Lange and Alec Baldwin.

Since DISCO, Matt has appeared in ARCADIA at the South Coast Repertory Theater and in SPLENDOR, a new film by Gregg Araki, as well as Showtime’s THANKS OF A GRATEFUL NATION.
